Ameliya is a witch and she's led to a bench to beat out a confession to her witchcraft deeds. Her feet are fixed in stocks and the inquisitor ties her toes. Now she will pass a few tests before they will burn her out.
1st test. Bastinado torture of her feet with punches of a whip, a stick, and a paddle. Ameliya is crying and suffers pain but doesn't confess. The inquisitor's voice censures her.
2nd test. Torture with needles. Several needles are inserted under the victims toenails.
3rd test. Fire. Her feet are burned by torch and then Ameliya gets few blows with the hot torch. Her soles get black marks after that. She doesn't confess yet. The Inquisitor already hates the witch and tortures her harder.
4th test. Torture with hot wax. The Inquisitor takes the skull-candlestick and pours Ameliya's feet with hot wax, which hardens on her feet.
It would seem that the torture was over and she passed the tests, but after the light turned off, Ameliya receives another portion of the fiery torture…
